Richard Pusey is back behind bars.
The Melbourne man and former mortgage broker was sentenced to 10 months' prison in April last year in the aftermath of an accident which saw four police officers lose their lives.
The four officers were killed in what became the deadliest incident in Victoria Police's history when a truck ploughed into them as they were in the emergency lane of the Eastern Freeway in April 2020.
Police had been speaking to Pusey who they had pulled over just before the crash.
The truck driver Mohinder Singh was high on drugs at the time of the accident and was sentenced to 22 years in jail.
Pusey's offence, meanwhile, was 'outraging public decency', and came in the wake of him taunting the dying officers and filming the tragedy.
He was released from custody for his string of offences in August last year.
At the time, he was photographed wearing a mask emblazoned with 'Fake news' and a t-shirt with the words 'Get Me Oprah'.
Now, he's back behind bars for allegedly posting an image of the tragic Freeway event online.
He was arrested last night (February 8) and has been charged with two counts of 'use telecommunications device to menace, harass or cause offence' and two counts of 'commit indictable offence whilst on bail'.
The Age is reporting Pusey is alleged to have posted a Google review of a Porsche dealership which included a photo of an officer killed in the tragedy.
Pusey will appear at Sunshine Magistrates' Court on February 22.
