Male porn star suffers life changing penis injury after horror accident on set

The words 'penis' and 'injury' spark shudders in men all over the world when they're used in a sentence.

So, if you're a little bit squeamish about accidents that happen downstairs then you should probably stop reading now.

Liam Ellis, a former brickie-turned-porn star, has revealed what happened to his Johnson while he was shooting some X-rated content.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, the adult film star said it all happened so fast.

"Basically I was having sex at the time... and it slipped out and I was still in motion and I wasn’t lined up," he said.

"That caused my penis to bend and tear, resulting in a penile fracture."

According to the Mayo Clinic, a penile fracture is a little different to other fractures in the body because there's no actual bones in the penis.

"During an erection, the penis is engorged with blood that fills two cylinders (corpora cavernosa)," the Mayo Clinic says.

"If an engorged penis is bent suddenly or forcefully, the trauma can rupture the outer lining of one of the two cylinders (tunica albuginea). This can result in a penis fracture."

The image that is being conjured at the moment is one of pure and utter pain.

Liam said he wasn't initially in any sort of bother when it happened.

However, after a while his penis started turning black and was getting swollen (and not in a good kind of way).

He's since undergone surgery to fix the penile fracture, but he's a little bit concerned every time he has sex now.

"I'm worried it might be one of those things that once you do it, it might happen again," he added.

To ensure he doesn't end up with another horrifying penis injury, he says he's going to be 'cautious' and revealed that there was a tiny, itty bitty silver lining out of the whole thing.

Ellis said: "I got a free circumcision out of it, which is something I've always wanted."

Hey, when life gives you a physically horrifying penis injury, you've got to make lemonade.

Liam's injury isn't that out of the ordinary and often happens during sex.

It's a good thing the adult film star got it check out by a doctor because there can be some awful ramifications if you don't get it checked out.

The Mayo Clinic states: "Left untreated, a penis fracture might result in a curved penis or the permanent inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sex (erectile dysfunction)."
