One man has quite literally struck gold after prospecting in a 'secret' stream near a major UK city.
The lucky chap plans to head back to the alleged gold-filled location to source some more of the precious material.
Eager to return, Andy Brooke has revealed he now has 'gold fever'. Check it out:
The prospector was checking out a stream back in January when he says he happened upon a potential goldmine.

Andy revealed that upon sieving through the water's contents, he discovered tiny flecks of pure gold nearby one of the biggest cities in the UK.
The specks of gold are just the start of the story for this lucky prospector.
After getting into the craft four years ago, it's clear that Andy has paid his dues - especially considering he didn't find anything at all in his first two years of prospecting.

Following his find, the 37-year-old revealed he thinks he's found his fortune near a golf course in - drumroll please - Birmingham of all places.
Speaking to Birmingham Live, Andy explained: "I went to the river in south Birmingham just before Christmas to check it out. I was only there for about an hour and did a couple of test pans."
Brooke, who also uploads his gold-finding escapades to his small YouTube channel One Man and His Pan, is keeping incredibly coy about the specifics of the location in question.
Not wanting to spark a chaotic gold rush, Andy's admitted he wants to be one to make the first big discovery even though any finds would have to be declared to the crown estate.

"I went back and posted a video of ‘gold in the secret Birmingham stream’ four weeks ago and found more," he continued.
"I found a few specks of gold at the bottom of the river."
Eager to 'locate the source', Andy has since revealed he is returning to the site yet again to find where the gold is 'actually' coming from.

Andy added: "I am always ecstatic when I find a little speck. Even more so in south Birmingham where no one has ever found any."
So, you can imagine just how 'ecstatic' Andy was upon finding a whole array of gold specks in his pan.
"I just do it as a hobby. To get out," he explained. "I’m not aiming to retire early. If I did find a big nugget I don’t know what I would do though."

And Andy's dreams of finding a 'big nugget' may come true considering the British Geological Survey listed the site as having signs of gold.
Talk about right time right place.
