A man who follows a raw meat diet – including chowing down on brains and testicles – has drawn comparisons to X-Men hero Wolverine. You can see him enjoying his meals here:
For Weam Breiche, 31, pretty much every meal is like a Bush Tucker Trial, with the health and fitness coach eating up to five plates of raw organs in a sitting.

Breiche, who is originally from Lebanon but now lives in LA, said he turned to raw meat after previously following a plant-based diet, which he claims left him with health issues.
He said: “I first made the switch to cooked carnivore after my doctor informed me that I had a lot of inflammation in my digestive and nervous system.
“As I adopted this diet, I started reading books about the benefits of meat and a lot of carnivore doctors eat their meat raw – so I decided to go for it.

“I’m reading several books on being carnivore at the moment and there are no complications to this diet. It’s the ultimate elimination diet.
“Being carnivore can reverse diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease and many autoimmune diseases.
“You might risk bacterial infection, but a healthy gut is totally capable of destroying harmful bacteria.”
Breiche’s current diet is around 90 percent raw meat and he says he’s suffered no ill effects from his unusual meals.

He chomps his way through a whopping 4,500 calories a day, to help build muscle – with his day typically starting out with half-a-pound of raw beef, which he blends with raw butter, salt and raw eggs. Imagine facing that with a hangover.
For lunch, Breiche he’ll eat two veal testicles, one veal brain, lamb liver, beef heart, beef kidney, beef bone marrow and raw butter.
At dinner, he’ll have raw steak slices and butter, which he sometimes pairs with an unflavoured grass-fed protein shake.

He said: “My favourite raw food is my concoction [in the morning] and veal brains. I also like raw ribeyes and fillets.
“I’m not a fan of raw chicken and pork – I’ve actually never tried them. I don’t even eat them cooked either.”
Alongside his protein-rich diet, Breiche goes to the gym seven times a week and uses ice baths.
Although he’s received a mixture of responses, Breiche doesn’t find any of them offensive and takes people calling him 'Wolverine' as a compliment.

He added: “I get a lot of love from people who want help – especially overweight kids that struggle with confidence.
“I also get tons of hate, especially from the vegan community, who continuously report my account and threaten to remove it.
“A lot of people focus on being in shape within the fitness world, but neglect actually being healthy – physically and mentally.
“I’ve tried all diets and struggled with haemorrhoids, as well as anal fissures [in the past].
“Using the restroom was a struggle for me, until I started my meat only diet and now my digestion is optimal.
“Raw meat is the easiest to digest and I don’t care what doctors say, I know what I feel.”
