A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death on the dance floor of a nightclub in Birmingham.
The unnamed 23-year-old was injured at Crane nightclub on Adderley Street, Digbeth, just before 11.45pm on Boxing Day (Monday 26 December).
He had been at an event featuring techno DJ Marco Carola, which started at 3pm.

Despite efforts to save him, West Midlands Police said he was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later.
An investigation is now underway, with officers reviewing CCTV footage and gathering evidence as the scene remains closed.
No arrests have been made thus far, with police saying neighbourhood officers will patrol the area over the coming days.

Det Insp Michelle Thurgood, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was a young man enjoying himself with friends on a Boxing Day night out.
"We know there were hundreds of people in the nightclub at the time.
"While we've spoken to a number of them already, we still need to hear from anyone who was there and who witnessed or even filmed what happened."
Police believe the victim had been approached by a group before he was stabbed, urging anyone who was in the club at the time to get in touch.

The sold-out Boxing Day event at Crane featured Marco Carola, Steve Lawler, Mason Maynard and Megadon, beginning at 3pm on Monday 26 December.
It has been due to run until midnight on Tuesday 27 December, with last entry to the club at 7pm.
