A Bournemouth hotel guest enjoyed a tipple too many over the weekend, and decided to lay down outside a Premier Inn in protest because he’d been refused entry to his room.
He was promptly moved on by police, because as it turned out, the poor fella was actually at the wrong hotel.
Coppers swiftly escorted him to the correct hotel, where he no doubt woke up hours later with a very dry mouth and the sort of headache that feels like your skull’s being crushed by a garbage truck.

Dorset police confirmed they responded to reports of an intoxicated man lying in protest on the pavement outside Premier Inn on Sunday (17 July) and helped him over the road to his actual hotel.
Police tweeted: "Officers have dealt with an intoxicated man who was trying to gain entry to a hotel where he didn’t have booking.
"He laid on the floor in protest. Officers returned him to the hotel he has a booking for over the road."

At least this geezer’s night ended with a nice hotel snooze, which is more than can be said for content creator Candy, who got so sloshed on a night out back in May that she decided to get ‘WEST HAM Till I Die’ permanently etched into her skin.
Meanwhile, one of Candy’s friends decided to have a Nike tick tattooed onto their hip, while another casually went for ‘garlic girl’. You really couldn’t make it up.
Candy shared her and her pals’ tattoo parlour sesh on TikTok, captioning the clip: “Getting drunk with your workmates and getting the most ridiculous tattoos you can think of."

Panning the camera around the room, Candy and her mates could be seen going under the needle, and social media users couldn’t get enough of the clip.
One person wrote beneath it: “Gorgeous, gorgeous girls get drunk with their mates and get West Ham tattoos."
Another added: “That Nike one kinda fire I can’t lie haha,” while a third penned: “The garlic one wins my heart.”
However, another warned about the dangers of getting tattooed when drunk, adding: "Literally should never ever get tattooed drunk, alcohol is a blood thinner. Pls don’t encourage people to turn up to appointments intoxicated."

Others just came up with more ideas for ridiculous tattoos: "I wanna get ze bluetooth device is connected successfully but in another language and tell people it means I love my family or something [sic]."
