Ever wondered if you have what it takes to make it in the porn industry? Well, an adult film producer and actor has revealed exactly what's required to make it.
Demetri XXX made his debut in 2001 and hasn't looked back.
After quitting his role as a business analyst, he has starred in hundreds of adult films.
As well as acting, he's produced and directed films for Playboy and TVX - he's won a few awards along the way too.
The porn star told LADbible back in 2018 that he stumbled on his adult film career after a call from his agent, asking if he was 'happy to get naked' for some work.
The former analyst, who was also working as a model at the time, thought 'why not' and decided to 'give it a go'.
He said: "Before you get offered any 'proper' roles, men are sent along for a casting. The audition process for men is different from women, of course.
"For me, I was sent to a set, there was no camera or crew - just one woman - she had a webcam set up and there were people logged in, paying to watch.
"They were sending in requests asking us to do things - telling us what positions to do, where to put what, etc.
"The main purpose of that process is to see if a man can get wood on demand. Loads of guys think they can, but when they're actually there they crumble. It's pretty daunting and it's definitely not for everyone."
Demetri added: "It was quite easy. The woman was attractive, it was new and exciting. I enjoyed it.
"It was much more chilled than making a film. It's a good way to see if you're a fit for the industry and the industry is a good fit for you."
However, if you're now thinking, 'cool, sign me up', Demetri offers a sobering word of warning about joining the industry.
"People think I have the best job in the world," he says. "And I'd say five percent of the time, I do. But it's also a lot of hard work.
"It's not like having sex with your girlfriend or whatever...everything is done to make the finished product look good.
"Sometimes there can be 20 or 30 people hanging around on set while you're trying to have sex; it's getting stopped and started; the positions you do are designed to look good on camera but aren't necessarily what you'd like to do at home. There's all these things.
"Obviously when it's good, it's great. You turn up, the woman is stunning and you get along, the director is your mate, there's a really good vibe, and, yeah, then it's great. But that's not the majority of the time, by any means."
