Homes Under The Hammer presenter Martin Roberts has been turned away from the Ukrainian border after being told it’s ‘too dangerous’ to cross.
The 58-year-old has embarked on a 26-hour journey across Europe with a car full of supplies in the hopes of delivering them to Ukrainians in need.

After arriving in Krakow, Poland, yesterday (14 March), the presenter continued his trek to the border where he found himself just 20km away from an area bombed by Russian forces in recent days.
Roberts was then told he could not cross the border, as it was simply 'too dangerous'.
In a bid to deliver his supplies to those in need, the television star headed to a nearby camp for Ukrainian refugees.
Feeling ‘lost for words’, Roberts noted the many people queuing for shelter and food amid freezing cold temperatures.

“Time 4 me to sign off after 3 extraordinary days,” he tweeted. “Thank you with all my heart for all your kind words. Support in any way you can, big or small. It matters.”
At the refugee area last night, he told his followers on Instagram: “I've moved down to the area where people are literally queuing for buses, which will take them to the centres where they'll get more attention and help.
“We're going to drop off the sleeping bags and sweets and various other bits and pieces. It's freezing cold, so some of our sleeping bags will maybe help.”

Roberts hoped the sweets and biscuits would provide ‘a few minutes of distraction’, he added.
Last week, the presenter revealed he would be driving a car packed full of supplies across Europe to help those affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Speaking to ITV’s Lorraine, he explained the next steps of his journey, which entailed travelling to the Medyka border.
He said: “I set off from Bournemouth where the organisation I'm helping have their base and I went cross to the ferry travelled through France, Netherlands, Belgium, down thought Germany then all the way through Poland and I'm now in Krakow.
“I'm heading today to Medyka, the border with Ukraine which is 20km from where the shelling happened yesterday, so I'm filled with a great sense of purpose but also trepidation.”

Last week, the TV host was left in tears after wholesale retailer Costco wouldn't let him buy more than two bottles of Calpol for Ukrainian children.
Roberts took to social media to voice his frustration at not being allowed to buy as much as he wanted, with the 58-year-old in tears as he explained that Costco wouldn't allow him to buy more than two boxes of the children's medicine Calpol.
Thankfully, a number of kind strangers who were at Costco each bought 2 bottles of Calpol and donated them to Roberts to add to his collection.
Costco declined to comment when approached by LADbible.
