McDonald's has announced it will be permanently getting rid of two much-loved breakfast items.
The fast food giant shared the news with fans, leaving many disappointed and some even saying they're not going to be visiting any longer.
Sharing the heartbreaking news on social media, McDonald's wrote: "It is with love and deep respect for one another that we announce that we are parting ways with Breakfast Bagels & Breakfast Wraps.
"Despite speculation and following a trial separation period, Breakfast Bagels & Breakfast Wraps will not be returning to the menu. We adore each other deeply but our love for the iconic McMuffin was simply too hard to ignore."
In the celebrity break-up-esque post, they went on to say: "We want our fans to know this is a mutual decision, to the extent that a bagel can make its own decision.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported our union. As for the rumours that there will be a new breakfast bae on the scene later this year... no comment.
"But it's now time to say, 'that's a wrap'. And bagel.
"And that the McMuffin is 99p today."
Talk about bad news followed by good news, eh?!
Commenting on the post, someone - who actually seems personally offended - wrote: "I can’t believe this! You’ve ruined my weekends!
"You won’t bring back the iconic bagels but you’ll spend 3 years trying to get a cheese slice to melt on a plant burger!
"The breakfast roll is no substitute for the breakfast wrap either! We’re done!"
Another added: "Two of the best items removed... Definitely no need for a Maccies breakfast now."
Agreeing wholeheartedly, a third responded: "Agree, none for me too, they lost customers for breakfast."
Another commented: "The breakfast bagel was the best thing on the menu. Who's doing your decision making? Boris Johnson?"
Trying to make sense of it all, one person highlighted the fact that they sell wraps anyway so it makes sense to continue doing so.
They explained: "No idea why you have gotten rid of them and also you sell wraps throughout the day, so keeping the breakfast wraps would be normal!"
Nothing makes sense.
