McDonald’s is famed for its new and exciting menu items, such as their summer exclusive tiramisu McFlurry and halloumi fries - but they don’t often stick around for long.
But that now may be a thing of the past, as McDonald’s first permanent burger addition is available from today (19 October).
Marking a first for the fast-food restaurant in 15 years, a new item is set to be on the menu for good.
Diners often have their go-to orders when it comes to the brand, but if you were going to shake it up for any reason, now is as good a time as any.

And while it’s always tempting to rush down to your nearest chain and order a few new food items to taste-test, there’s no reason to stockpile on the new burger as it’s now a firm fixture on their menu.
Chicken lovers, read on - because the new McDonald’s burger is one for you.
From today, the ‘McCrispy burger’ is going to be on the McDonald's menu. And we know that the Gods are hearing our prayers - because this burger isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

The McCrispy burger is described by the fast food chain as having a 'crunchy 100 percent chicken breast fillet, marinated in black pepper and cayenne’ as well as lashings of 'classic mayonnaise with cracked black pepper and a savoury roasted chicken flavour'.
And if that wasn’t enough - which it isn’t, as a burger needs a bun - it’s then finished off with a 'four-inch artisan glazed bun with a sweet nutty toasted flavour'.
Sign me the f**k up.
For all those looking to make it a meal (I mean, why wouldn’t you?), to add fries and a drink as part of their extra-value deal, a McCrispy burger will cost you £6.49.

And for die-hard McDonald’s fans, you might recall tucking into a similar burger back in March, called the Crispy McFillet burger.
One user wrote: "I have a dream and that dream is a filet o fish bun double mccrispy with big mac sauce." Sounds interesting.
The new face of the burger is none other than Maya Jama – the television presenter who was recently revealed to be taking over from Laura Whitmore on ITV reality series Love Island.

Jama said: "I love a chicken burger and am a self-confessed chicken connoisseur, so when I found out Maccies was launching this new burger, I had to get involved."
Alongside Jama, gamer Elz the Witch, rapper Michael Dapaah and comedian Keith Lemon will also be on television promoting the burger.
