A Nando's employee has revealed the generous rewards system the restaurant chain has in place for its workers. You can watch the clip below:

TikToker Chloe Jane (@lunarlovestein) has taken to the platform to thank the company for a letter she received after having completed five years of service.

If you needed any more incentive to love Nando's – not that you should when you can sink your teeth into a Sunset burger and PERI-salted chips – then wait until you hear about this.

It's time to quit your job, pick up a Barci Barcelos cockerel and start serving some macho peas.

The letter to Chloe reflects that 'a lot can happen in five years' before hinting, 'even more in four weeks'.

It reads: "Congratulations on five Peri-amazing years.

"There must be something that you've always wanted to do but never had the time to realise? As our way of saying thank you we would love to give you an extra four weeks of paid leave to make that ambition a reality.

"So get out there, have fun, and don't forget to let us know what you get up to!"

The video has amassed more than half a million views, and 50,000 likes, with people in the comments astounded by the generous gift.

"Wow that’s amazing! my work gave me a $5 Starbucks card for my 5th year working there," one said.

Another joked: "Think they could give you a badge as well seems most popular reward."

A third said: "And THIS is how companies should treat staff."

As well as a paid four-week sabbatical for every five years of service, Nando's employees also receive free meals while on shift and a discount of 'up to 40% when they're not. (Depending on the day of the week)'.

TikToker reveals the card she got from Nando's on her fifth anniversary of working for the company.

"Patrãos and Assistant Managers have a 5-day working week and can have one weekend off per month. Also, a clothing allowance to look extra sharp [...] Sharing in our success is a big thing to us. Patrãos and MD’s can earn their salary again in bonuses over the year. Or in Macho Peas if they prefer. And there’s private healthcare too," its site explains.

Nando's also reflected that it has 'a couple' of employees who 'have experienced three or four sabbaticals now!'

"Last, but definitely not least, there’s our fun extravaganzas. We make sure each year is filled with fun, whether it’s team trips, annual conferences, family fun days, networking events or Christmas parties," it states.

A Nando's spokesperson told LADbible: "We often say it’s the people who make the chicken and we are always looking for new ways to recognise and reward the hard work of our team.

"We hope Chloe has an amazing time on her well deserved sabbatical and can’t wait to hear all about it when she’s back."
