Apple Has Dropped The New iPhone SE And A Brand New Colour For iPhone 13 In Australia Today

The luscious deep green will join the iPhone 13 team.

Apple has dropped a brand new phone in the Australian market today (March 18).

The third generation of the iPhone SE is finally available down under and it's the perfect model for those who are looking for a well-priced smartphone.

That's not to say that the iPhone 13 is overtly expensive, however considering it costs nearly $1,200 for the entry model, the iPhone SE is perfect.

Starting at just $719 for the 64GB model, people will be able to own a device with the latest and greatest technology but without having to fork out too much for it.

It comes in three gorgeous colours, including Midnight Black, Starlight White and (PRODUCT) Red, and three data sizes of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

This latest edition of the iPhone SE comes with the home button instead of Face ID for those people who prefer having something to press rather than rely solely on a touch screen and swipe commands.

It comes with Apple's incredible A15 Bionic, 5G compatibility and a new camera system that is programmed with advanced features like Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles and Deep Fusion.

It's also been designed with better durability so that it can better withstand life's daily mishaps like rain and falls.

The phone also has an awesome battery life to ensure you're dialling, texting or watching for as long as possible.

Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing said: “iPhone SE has been an incredibly popular choice with our existing users and for new iPhone customers, thanks to its iconic design, exceptional performance and affordable price.

"This year we’ve built the most powerful and durable iPhone SE yet, with better battery life thanks to A15 Bionic, the same chip as our iPhone 13 line-up that also unlocks advanced camera features like Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles and Deep Fusion. “And with 5G, iPhone SE gives users faster downloads and uploads, higher-quality video streaming, real-time interactivity in apps and much more.

"Delivering the latest generation of technology and performance at this price is something only Apple can do.”

But that's not the only exciting thing dropping today for Apple customers in Australia.

Apple

The company has also released a stunning new colour for the iPhone 13.

The 'alpine green' and green will be available on the latest edition of the smartphone and it's really stunning.

Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing said in a statement: “People love the design of iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13, and we’re excited to unveil the stunning new alpine green and green finishes, which join the wide range of beautiful colours on the iPhone 13 line-up."

The two green iPhone colours, as well as the iPhone SE are now available for purchase in Australia.
