A woman who smokes weed has explained why she told her kids that she smokes week. Listen to what she has to say below:
Caitlin Fladager is from Vancouver in Canada, where the drug is legal, and has amassed an army of followers on Instagram.
The 28-year-old uses he account to discuss what it's like being a mother and her relationship with her husband.
She is also open about the fact that she smokes cannabis and that her children know all about it.
And in one of her most recent posts, Caitlin explained why she decided to tell her kids.
She said: "It is medicine, and I want my kids to know about more natural options.
"I want to always be open with them, and reduce the stigma weed has.
"I never hid drinking wine from them, so I won't hid weed either. They know it as 'mumma's little helper' on those hard days."
In the caption, she went on to say: "I have always been open with my kids. Especially about this medicinal plant.
"I want them to also know the benefits, in a world that's so focused on talking about the negatives."
Since admitting that she smokes pot, Caitlin has come in for a lot of criticism from some who say parents shouldn't be using the drug.
In another video, shared late last year, she addressed the judgement that some people have passed down on her.
In text over the video, she had written: "When someone says 'you can't smoke w33d if you're a mom!'."
Simply put, the video shows the mother grinding what is presumably weed in a handheld grinder while the audio says: "Lalalala shh, living my life."
And many piped up in the comments to commend her for speaking up.
One person wrote: "Yassssss amen. Tired of this huge stigma even though... wine isn't frowned upon like weed is?! F that."
While another person said: "Yes especially when the same people judging are the ones getting wine drunk most nights lol."
