Festival-goers at Glastonbury were absolutely furious as bars reportedly went cash-only, causing complete 'chaos'.
Some bars suddenly switched to cash-only payments on Friday night (24 June), one of the most hectic times of the evening, reports Bristol Live.
Revellers were allegedly not able to use their cards after 8:00pm as the WiFi had supposedly 'gone down'.

Although, it's being said that food trucks were still receiving card payments as usual.
One anonymous reveller told the publication: "It was chaos at some of the bars.
"People were getting to the front of the queues and placing orders only to be told that they weren't taking cards.

"A lot of the bars are nowhere near cashpoints so we were faced with having to walk 15 minutes just to get cash out and buy a drink, by which time we were back in a 15-minute queue.
"I don't understand why the bars won't take cards when nearly every other food place here will let you use them."
Someone else explained: "I was in the Silver Hayes area of the festival looking for a drink, to which I was told that all bars in the area were cash only due to the card machines not working.

"Apparently this was an issue to do with the WiFi, which had been an issue in the days prior.
"This wouldn’t normally be a major issue, however, the nearest ATMs were closed, meaning the closest cash point was on the other side of the Pyramid stage.
"Not ideal when the act I wanted was due to start in 10 minutes. I was fuming."

The alleged accident occurred just before Sam Fender brought the house down at 8:15pm.
The musician, 28, took to the iconic music festival's Pyramid Stage on the first day of the festival, and the crowd went wild.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "Stop what you're doing. Turn on the telly and watch Sam Fender at Glastonbury. Lush."

"Watching Sam Fender at Glasto is making me so emotional man [sic]," added a second.
Another added: "i really really love sam fender, i am so jealous of anyone at glastonbury right now [sic]."
"Sam fender ripping it up, as expected [sic]," another commented.
Earlier that day, Fender took to social media to share his excitement about the performance.
He wrote: "I’ve always wanted to go to @glastonbury and always dreamed of playing the pyramid stage as a young lad. Tomorrow, I'll do both.
"See you down the front at 8.15pm."
