Binley Mega Chippy captured the heart of the nation - nay, world - this week when the Coventry chippy sky-rocketed to stardom thanks to a now-viral TikTok video.
And if you’ve been keeping up with Binley Mega Chippy’s ever-evolving news cycle, you may have heard of the Morbius Meal - a deep-fried feast consisting of chips, mushy peas, a can of ginger beer and a colossal slab of fish - all for £4.99.

Punters are apparently thrilled about getting to chow down on a Moby Dick-sized catch plus sides for less than a fiver, and the Morbius Meal has been racking up rave reviews on social media despite Binley Mega Chippy not even serving it.
A string of parody accounts (like the one below) have been giving the chip shop a promo boost - going so far as to advertise meal deals they might not even sell.
And its not just fake ads that are doing the rounds, the reviews are coming in thick and fast too.

Another added: “Would like to thank @BinleyMegaChip for releasing the Morbius Meal, utterly delicious, snuck one in with me when I went to the cinema to watch Morbius last night and it was a treat!”
Another gushed: “Bosh, Binley did it again. Just got done with me Morbius Meal with extra mushy peas, couldn’t handle the mega portion. Absolute scran this is.”

Struggling to manage their cravings, a sixth social media user tweeted: “I just want... no need, a Binley Mega Chippy Morbius meal deal.”
“Can’t be a bigger craving in life than the Morbius Meal from Binley Mega Chippy,” penned a third, while a fourth said: “I want a Binley Mega Chippy so f*****g bad holy s**t give me the Morbius Meal.”
Unfortunately, Vice confirmed that the puzzled chippy workers don't actually sell a 'Morbius Meal' but you can still order a large fish, chips and mush peas and buy a ginger beer to wash it down.
