Well, it goes without saying that one of the unspoken rules of travelling is to never sit barefoot next to a passenger.
Wendy, however, brought along special equipment on the flight, including a huge inflating pillow that leans on the seat in front, so she is able her rest her feet while getting some shut eye while she travels.
The viral vid has racked up over five million views and users were simply not having it.
One user, specifically, wrote: "I would pay extra not to be next to her."

To which, Wendy hit back with: "You got money like that… buy your own airplane then!"

Another user said: "Um no Karen, put your shoes on this is not your house."

A second wrote: "Airplane etiquette please!"
And a third commented: "Sorry, the bare feet really makes my blood boil.
"There are zero reasons why you couldn’t have put slippers or fluffy socks on. No one wants to see that."
A fourth said: "This is a great example of how to be selfish and not think of others around you."

And another added: "These are the people you hope you don’t get seated by."
Another bare-feet plane incident, which infuriated the internet last November, was when a Reddit user shared the moment a person behind them managed to wriggle their feet underneath their chair to leave them exposed for all to see.
People on Reddit came up with all sorts of ways to get the person behind to get them to retract their feet. Some suggested stomping on the toes to send a not so subtle message, while others offered a cheekier way.

One user wote: "Nah, gotta be more passive aggressive about it. Ask the flight attendant for coffee. Make it extra hot. Accidentally spill it all over the feet. Plausible deniability, and as an added bonus maybe the heat will kill some of that toe funk and do em a favour."
A different person said: "Don't just stomp. What you want to do is plant your heel on the toes. And stand up."
A third added: "Make something very sugary (ask stewardess for 4 packs of sugar, dilute in quarter cup warm water) and pour for that sticking between the toes feeling."
