This is the moment a police officer crashed leaving the vehicle she was driving on top of another car:
The officer - a PC - has now had her driving authority withdrawn pending the completion of a further driving course.
Leicestershire Police explained that she was sanctioned following the incident which took place on 22 November and has received points on her driving licence.
On top of this she has had her driving authority rescinded but is still carrying out police duties.
The incident which took place in Leicester showed the car propped up on top of another vehicle while emergency workers surrounded the officer, providing the officer assistance in getting out.
Some time after, the fire service ended up dragging the car off the blue Citroen it was previously perched on top of.
Passersby were quick to take pictures and videos of the incident and it clips were posted on social media.
One of them, which has been shared multiple times, included the caption: "Can't park there, mate."
It's now been liked over 9,800 times and received more than 100 comments from people who couldn't help but have a chuckle at the police officer's misfortune.
And the owner of the other car for that matter.
Commenting on one of the clips, one person shout-wrote: "HOW ON EARTH DID THEY MANAGE THAT?!"
Another asked: "How the f*** has that managed to happen?"
And a third said: "Deffo getting a ticket for parking on double yellows."
Someone else said: "Aah can't get any more British than that," which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Another commented: "Harry Potter parking but not in the tree."
