Brits were left baffled after hearing a suspicious moaning sound during the live election coverage.
Yep, as Sky News announced the exit poll prediction of a Labour landslide win in the UK, the reaction in the studio was... interesting.
I guess everyone makes their own sounds when they experience pleasure, but this does sound rather odd – especially if you listen to it without watching.
It came as the exit poll predicted the Labour victory with a 170-seat victory. As it stands right now (with two more seats to go) the party now have a massive 412 seats, although the official results will now not be announced until tomorrow (6 July).

And as ‘LABOUR LANDSLIDE – MAJORITY 170’ rolled across the screen, the broadcaster’s sounds played out the interesting sounding live reactions.
Manchester’s Labour mayor Andy Burnham joined host Kay Burley in the Sky News studio and it’s fair to say he was pretty buzzing with the prediction.
The bloke looked like he practically wanted to jump out of his seat as he threw his arms about in celebration.

The Sky election team - which included Kay Burley and Beth Rigby - were clearly pretty excited to as she could be heard repeatedly moaning while the exit poll prediction figures rolled in.
Well, there was a whole load of moaning noises as the pair reacted to the seemingly massive Labour win.
“Oh wow… that’s brilliant,” said the made-up Burnham as Labour are set to return to power in the UK for the first time since 2010.
And viewers at home were absolutely baffled, as users wrote on X: “Wife looked over and thought I was watching porn. Questionable noises coming from the studio there.”

While someone said they ‘love’ the reactions, others left confused looking memes to say: “The noise in the background at the beginning?”
Many did add: “What’s with the weird sex noises you freaks?”
Another put: “What was that moan about?!? Gosh, I thought something dodgy was playing in the background, and I haven’t got me mic on! Oo, lucky escape. Pffuh..”

As one said: “Had to turn the volume down people will think I'm watching something else."
And many agreed: “I’m glad this isn’t audio only.”
So far Labour have actually done even better than the exit poll predicted, with only two seats still left to call and Kier Starmer about to officially become our next prime minister.
