Pornhub shares popular searches in every UK region

People are in stitches over Pornhub's map of the UK revealing what category each region is most likely to watch more of compared to others.

If you're braving No Nut November, turn away now, because the conversation is heating up.

Pornhub explains the results are formed from 'relative searches' which are 'based on the 100+ specified genres that all Pornhub videos are sorted into'.

"Relative searches indicate what locals are more likely to type into the search box compared to their neighbours. These terms are all within the Top 100 searches in the UK and make up a larger proportion of the total searches in each region when compared to the average popularity across the rest of the UK," it clarifies. "The same categories are available in every part of the world, even when translated into local lingo. Categories show the type of porn being watched by visitors who navigate Pornhub’s directories and watch recommended content without typing in manual searches."

Now for the results you've all been waiting for.

Beginning at the top of the map is Scotland, where users are 140 percent more likely to search 'Solo Male' videos compared to any other region in the UK.

In Northern Ireland, users are more likely to watch 149 percent more 'Smoking' videos than anywhere else in the UK - take from that what you will, my innocent mind simply went to lighting a cigarette mid downward dog being a bit of a fire hazard.

Moving to England, in the North East, the top relative category came out as, 'Strap On'.

The North West's top category compared to other regions was, 'British' - cue images of a raunchier version of Downtown Abbey or Bridgerton flitting through my head.

Yorkshire and Humber PornHub users are more likely to watch 'Vintage' - now whether that's sex on vintage furniture, vintage sex toys (if there is such a thing?!) or older more 'vintage' people, who knows?

The Welsh are apparently more likely to love a bit of cosplay, the West Midlands some BBW - which I was kindly informed by adult film star Dee is the category of 'Big Beautiful Women' - and there's no dilly-dallying around in the East Midlands, where users' most likely search compared to other regions comes out as 'Fisting'.

Compared to the East Midlands, the East of England prefers a bit more foreplay with videos of a 'handjob' coming out on top.

Greater London is the category, 'Indian', and the South West grows kinkier again with a cheeky bit of bondage, before descending into chaos with 138 percent more likely to be into 'pissing' videos in the South East.

At least you know which regions to visit on your wild single nights out and ones you're better off avoiding.

One user said: "Yorkshire & Humber enjoying the classics!"
