Ava Phillippe has opened up about her sexuality, explaining that she's 'attracted to people'.
The daughter of actors Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe addressed a range of subjects in a Q&A with her 996,000 Instagram followers on Thursday (6 January).
Asked whether she likes boys or girls, the 22-year-old indicated that she's not concerned by gender.
She wrote: "I'm attracted to... people! Gender is whatever."
But while she may be clear on that matter, she was less sure of the 'key to a successful relationship'.
She replied: "Boundaries? Willingness to learn/adapt? Open communication? Trust?
"Not sure. But if you figure it out, let me now!"
Ava also explained what it is like to have famous parents and said she 'wouldn't change a thing'.
Responding to the fairly dumb question, 'Do you think your life would’ve been different if your parents weren’t celebrities?', she replied honestly: "Yes. Very."
She continued: "That said though, I wouldn’t change a thing! The good and the not so good all made me who I am and gave me so many amazing opportunities.
"And my parents get to do what they love which is super cool."
As for what Ava does - and will do - for a living, she said that was something she is still figuring out.
She wrote: "I 'influence' for brands on social media now and then. Up until recently, I was in college. Currently, I am figuring it out!"
Ava's parents both starred in 1999 teen drama Cruel Intentions and the pair got married a few months after its release.
They had two children together, Ava - who was born in 1999 - and son Deacon, who was born in 2003.
They separated in 2006 and Witherspoon went on to marry talent agent Jim Toth in 2011, before giving birth to their son, Tennessee, the following year.
Phillipe had a daughter with actor Alexis Knapp in 2011, by which point they had separated.
