Considering a single steak at Salt Bae's London restaurant could set you back a whopping £850, it might actually be cheaper to simply fly to Turkey to try out his lesser-known diner.
Yes, apparently he has a burger bar in Istanbul and its prices are significantly less than his notorious Nusr-Et steakhouse in Knightsbridge.

As many of you will know by now, the celebrity chef, real name Nusret Gökçe, rose to fame with his signature salt-sprinkling technique.
He's gone on to build an empire of Nusr-Et eateries around the world, although they haven't always received the best reactions.
The backlash kicked off when he opened his UK restaurant back in September 2021, with many diners slamming the astronomical fees.
Shortly after it opened, it soon hit the headlines for its £100 burgers, £11 cans of Red Bull and the famous £850 golden Tomahawk steak sprinkled with gold leaf.

And it appears to be much the same elsewhere, with one group of diners at the Abu Dhabi branch raking up an eye-watering £141,190 bill.
Although some Londoners have already made up their minds about the brand, there are still plenty of people who want a chance to try out some of the chef's dishes but don't want to empty their bank accounts at the same time.
And for those who fall into this camp, you're in luck - a number of TikTokers have been sharing their experience at Gökçe's burger bar in Istanbul, simply called #saltbae.

One man named Ali, who runs the TikTok page @heymanfoodreviews, shared footage of his visit to the restaurant and his experienced included all of the theatrics you'd get at one of the expensive chains.
That includes a waiter injecting his burger with cheese before using a flashy meat knife to squish it down and cut it in two.
Ali said, "This was probably the best burger I've had in Istanbul," and he was similarly complimentary about the chips.

What's more, he said the dish only set him back around £8. "I find the Nusr-Et restaurant a bit overpriced but this, however, priced very well," he said.
Another TikToker (@britinsavoie) went to the burger joint near the city's famous Galata Tower. Their video showed some delectable looking onion fries, which they rated 8/10, the same score they awarded to the burger.
The TikToker then joked that they got the '£100 Nusr-Et burger for just £7'.
And for those who assume the chef doesn't have time to visit the eatery, TikTok user @silsantosr uploaded a clip of them being served by the main man himself.

The footage shows Salt Bae loading a gold-leafed burger with cheese before cutting it in two and serving it to the diner.
Commenters agree that the prices seem a lot more fair, with one writing: "These burgers are actually nice and well priced."
Another said, "That burger actually looks banging."
