The name Karen will likely send shivers down the spines of many.
They have unfortunately become synonymous with the act of complaining and worse.
Whether it's their hairstyle or their near-instantaneous ability to launch into a furious tirade.

Hell, a successful, multi-national restaurant franchise called Karen's Diner has capitalised on the phrase.
However, it appears the poor Karens of this world have been unfairly targeted.
New research has revealed that they aren't the biggest complainers; not by a long shot.
TrustPilot did some digging and discovered the name David was the highest on their list of people who left one-star reviews.

A little more than 20,000 Davids had complained with the lowest possible rating and they were closely followed by 19,562 Pauls.
John, Chris, Mark and James were the next on the list and the first female entry was Sarah, with 13,971 one-star ratings.
The only other female in the top 15 list was Emma.

It's pretty rogue that we have a name like Karen that is meant to characterise women who complain or want to speak to the manager when it seems like men desperately need a similar name to group all the complainers together.
"When we delved into more specific categories, David came out top again for 1 star reviews in Electronics and Technology, Home and Garden, and Money and Insurance," TrustPilot said.
"Sarah left the most 1 star reviews in Beauty and Wellbeing and Shopping and Fashion."
Funnily enough, Karen was 13th on the list of people who gave the most five star reviews.

"Alex and Emma, who were 14 and 15 on the 1 star list, are nowhere to be seen in the top 15 for 5 star reviews," TrustPilot said.
"The most 5 star reviews in Beauty and Wellbeing were left by Sarah, David and Karen, while Sarah and David also left the most 5 star reviews in Shopping and Fashion, along with Paul."
