Shakira, 45, and Piqué, 35, have been together since 2010 and have two sons together – Milan and Sasha.
Although they were together for 11 years, the former couple never married.
Fans of the Hips Don't Lie singer believe she hinted there could be some relationship troubles in her song Te Felicito with Rauw Alejandro, although this is unconfirmed.
The 45-year-old sang: "To complete you I broke into pieces; I was warned, but I didn't listen.

"I realised that yours is false; it was the drop that overflowed the glass.
"Don't tell me you're sorry, that sounds sincere, but I know you well and I know you're lying."
The Spanish media have alleged that the World-Cup winner has been 'disloyal', however neither Shakira or Piqué have confirmed that this has been the case.
Speaking on a recent episode of Gary Neville's The Overlap podcast, the Spain international explained how he felt there wasn't a need to get married.

"I read a statement of hers where she said something like she'd rather not get married and you keep seeing her as forbidden fruit to keep you on your toes," Neville told the Barcelona defender.
Piqué replied: "Yes, it's his mentality. I like how we are now, how we function as a couple and we don't feel the need to be married."
Neville then went on to joke that Piqué had proposed marriage to the Colombian but got rejected, to which the Spaniard responded: "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no... I would tell you if that had been the case, I have no problem, but it is not the case."

He added: "I like it how we are right now. We have two kids, nine and seven, we work good as a couple. We don't have the need to be married, it's fine."
The pair reportedly first met in the spring of 2010, when the footballer made an appearance in the music video for Shakira's song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), which was the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
In 2013, Shakira gave birth to her first son Milan on 22 January 2013 in Barcelona, Spain.
