It’s no surprise that Snoop Dogg is stoner royalty, but what is slightly flabbergasting is how young Snoop was when he first hit the blunt.
Sure, we shouldn’t be too surprised that the rapper started early considering one of his most famous songs is quite literally called 'Smoke Weed Every Day', but there’s young, and then there’s young.
The hit-maker spoke candidly about the first time he enjoyed a little dank, and jaws are sure to hit the ground.

He was chatting to Esquire back in 2008 when he revealed: “The first time I got high off marijuana was in the seventies, with one of my uncles.
“They had these little roaches on the table - these part-way-smoked marijuana cigarettes - and there was some Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull.
“I went in there and sipped the Schlitz, and my uncle asked me did I wanna hit that roach.

“And I was like, ‘Yeah.’ He put it on the roach clip for me and lit it up, and I hit that motherf****r.”
Snoop then clarified: “I was about eight or nine years old.”
The star has never been one to hold back in interviews, and more recently, spoke candidly about his final moments with Tupac when the rapper was shot in 1996.
The night Tupac died, Snoop went to visit him in hospital, despite the two having had a recent falling out.

Speaking to Logan Paul earlier this year, Snoop shared: “When we drive to Vegas to see Pac. We got to Suge’s [Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight] house first, so we haven't even seen Pac.”
He continued: “We just talking to Suge, and he got the head wrapped up and he telling us what happened and [saying] 'Pac gonna be alright, he going to pull through he got shot nine times before he going to be alright'."
Snoop then revealed the shocking toll seeing Tupac lying in a hospital bed had on his body.

He said: “We feeling like it's gonna be alright until we go to the hospital and see that it ain't alright. He got tubes in him. When I walked in, I could just feel like he wasn't even there and I fainted."
Snoop said that Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur then took him aside for a private conversation and convinced him to tell Pac how he felt.
“She gave us a moment for me to say some things to him as far as how much I love him. But I knew that that was gonna be my last time speaking with him," he added.
