Daniel Dubois' former trainer who was commentating on the fight issued a warning just before Anthony Joshua was knocked out.
Joshua's hopes of becoming a three-time world champion never materialised after he suffered the fourth loss of his career on Saturday night (21 September).
The IBF world heavyweight title was in his reach, but Dubois was standing in his way at a record-breaking attendance at Wembley Stadium in London.
98,128 watched on from the stands as the 34-year-old was floored four times by Dubois, and in the fifth round, he didn't get up.

In the aftermath of the fight, BBC 5 Live Sport has shared a clip of Joshua's camp giving him advice ahead of the fifth and what would be the final round.
His corner, led by Ben Davison, advised him to '[get] in behind that double jab, bring it up, roll the dice'.
Meanwhile, Dubois' former trainer Shane McGuigan questioned the advice given.

He said: "I think that’s dangerous advice there to be honest.
"Getting him to bring it up off the double jab, Daniel throws that right hand straight off that double jab and by bringing it up he means an uppercut.
"He is going to walk himself straight onto his short right hand. If you ask me I’d just say keep your hands up tight.
"Get through these next two rounds and then use your athleticism late down the stretch."

It seems McGuigan knew what he was talking about as that's exactly what happened after Joshua couldn't make it past the fifth round.
After the match, there were question marks surrounding Joshua's future in the sport, something that the fighter has quickly put to bed this afternoon (23 September).

"We came up short but we've got to look at all the positives," he said in a video shared on social media.
"That's the mindset and that's the perspective we've got to have; a positive one always.
"Look at what we've achieved in the last 11 years, it's phenomenal and I want to thank every single one of you who has been riding with me.

"What a rollercoaster journey, but you know what the problem is, it's far from over yet. We've done it once, we've done it twice and doing it a third time hasn't been easy but it's something I can achieve.
"It's about making the right steps forward, working hard and improving. It's got to come from the heart more than anything. It can't come from any external voices or influences; it's got to come from the heart.
"It's only been a day but when I sit back and think, I know I've got a lot of heart.
"Thanks for your support, thanks for being on this rollercoaster journey with me. Keep your seatbelt tight because deep, deep, deep down in here I know I've got a lot more to bring to the game and long may it continue."
