A BBC presenter accidentally said the Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was 'fisting' to celebrate his team winning the Carabao Cup quarter final.
As with any broadcaster that's on pretty much all the time there are occasionally going to be some mistakes.
We recently saw Maryam Moshiri showing the middle finger to the camera right before a news broadcast, though it was later revealed to be part of a joke she had with her filming crew just as she'd said all along.

This time around the Beeb was covering the aftermath of Liverpool's 5-1 victory over West Ham and Klopp was certainly a happy bunny.
It's not surprising considering Liverpool's win puts them into the semi finals and they're pretty much the best team left in the tournament.
Klopp's side will have to feel like they're favourites to lift the trophy this year since they're flying high this season and are some way better than the other teams.

Cruising past West Ham, they now have a two-legged tie against Fulham which if they win will put them up against either Championship team Middlesbrough or Mauricio Pochettino's somewhat struggling Chelsea team.
It's Liverpool's to lose but they can afford no distractions, not least from any managerial antics on the touchline.
Thankfully while Klopp was in the mood to celebrate he wasn't quite doing what a BBC presenter said he was up to after an accidental slip of the tongue.
"Saw him fisting his, err... bumping his fists in the air there. Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager," said BBC presenter Chetan Pathak, who couldn't help but stifle a laugh at his own error.

Still, he recovered pretty well to get things back on track again and even found time to joke about it on social media.
Sharing a clip of his own error, Pathak wrote: "My apologies, lesson learnt. The next time I think I’ll ad-lib a story, I’ll stick to what’s written on the autocue."

Fortunately everyone was managing to see the funny side and praised the presenter for 'keeping it together', though there were some wondering if the gallery was laughing down his earpiece after he said Klopp had been 'fisting'.
In the end it was just one of those mishaps which happens sometimes on TV, it's a late entry for one of the best blunders of 2023 but it's got to be up there among some of the better ones.
As for what Jurgen Klopp might do if he does win the Carabao Cup, we hope he sticks to bumping his fists in the air.
