Chris Eubank Jr.’s trainer Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre has been spared prison after he pleaded guilty to firearms offences.
The outcome was decided after a long hearing at which the unbeaten welterweight world champion Terence Crawford gave evidence in support of McIntyre.
The judge accepted mitigating circumstances and handed down a sentence of 12 months, suspended for two years.

After the fight, the British boxer addressed his trainer’s problems, telling The MMA Hour: "I can't talk too much on it because there's a lot of legal stuff going on right now.
“I still don't even know how it happened, why it happened, it's a crazy, crazy situation.

"He's a great trainer and he has a great team around him. I've never had a team before, I know that sounds insane but it is the truth, I've trained myself for many, many years and when I did have trainers it was just one guy.
“I trained with Roy Jones for a few years, he was supposed to train me for this fight but he couldn't do it."
