Cristiano Ronaldo will go down as one of, if not the, greatest footballer of all time. And it's a place in the history of the sport that he's more than earned.
Whether you put CR7, Lionel Messi or the likes of Diego Maradona or Pele at the top of your all-time list, Ronaldo's place in the podium spots is one that has been achieved through hard work and dedication.
One large part of that concerns what he's putting in to his body, with his physique still one of the best you'll find on any active footballer despite him now being 39 years old.
Long gone are the days of the scrawny teenager that first moved to Manchester United, transformed in to a super-ripped global icon during his Real Madrid years in which he went to, and stayed, at the pinnacle of world football.

Now in what is likely to be his final few years as a professional footballer, Ronaldo is enjoying the sun in Saudi Arabia as he plays for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.
To this day, his Instagram is complete with new images of Ronny shirtless as he enjoys the Middle Eastern temperatures and sunshine.
What does Cristiano Ronaldo eat?
Ronaldo trains hard, with a strict regime under his belt. It's a routine that's helped him keep playing at the age of almost 40.

Going hand in hand with that is a diet that is equally as strict.
"A good workout must be combined with a good diet," he has previously said on what he puts in his body.
"I eat a high protein diet, with lots of wholegrain carbs, fruit and vegetables, and avoid sugary foods."
Being Ronaldo, he has a personal dietician and chef so that he can treat his body like a temple.

Through his dietician, Ronaldo has been on a diet of six small meals every single day - one every three hours or so - a routine that he has done since his early days at Real Madrid after moving to the club in 2009.
Ronaldo's favourite foods
Breakfast for the legendary footballer consists of ham, cheese, and low-fat yoghurts. He will also make sure he's eating plenty of fruit as well as a side of avocado on toast.

Away from breakfast, Ronaldo reportedly focuses a lot of what he eats around fish, with a big emphasis on the likes of swordfish and sea bass.
His favourite food is Bacalhau à Brás, a Portuguese dish made of shreds of salted cod, onions, thinly sliced fried potatoes, and bound together with egg.
He says: "Eat regularly. If you train regularly it’s important to keep energy levels high to fuel your body for better performance.
"I sometimes eat up to six smaller meals a day to make sure I have enough energy to perform each session at top level."
