In an event which has been more entertaining than basically everything which occurred during England's 1-1 draw with Denmark at Euro 2024, the Danish fans decided to deploy a rather NSFW chant ahead of the game.
If you've just been watching the Three Lions put on a display about as scintillating as a dentist appointment, then you might appreciate some levity.
England went ahead first thanks to an early Harry Kane goal, but almost immediately sat deep and invited pressure.

A misplaced pass from Kane set up Morten Hjulmand to put the ball past Pickford from distance, and from there things were distinctly unexciting as England didn't craft many more exciting chances.
Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham both appeared to be trying to play in the same spot, Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield doesn't seem to be working and beyond the goals, the most exciting moment was when Gareth Southgate decided to switch out his entire forward line.
Yep, that's the level of entertainment we got that we're discussing a triple substitution being a moment of excitement.

Anyhow, only what the Danish fans were up to that was so noteworthy.
Before the game, back in that realm when anything was possible and England vs Denmark might have been a scintillating spectacle instead of the match we actually got, Danish fans had their chants ready.
They were inviting English supporters to 'stick your f**king teabag up your a**e', and frankly if you spent the past 90 minutes doing that then you probably had a better time than if you'd watched the game.
Still, some England fans said the teabag chant was 'bang out of order', while others said it was 'too far' from the Danes.

Such clap-backs from England fans might have held weight before the game, but after the Three Lions served up a level of fun you'd expect from a seminar at a data entry company, there's really not a lot of ammunition to strike back.

For some reason, England were named the bookies favourites to win Euro 2024, but with performances like that, it's definitely not happening and they'll be rolled over the first time they end up on a pitch with one of the other big boys of Europe.
Sorry to be so negative, dear reader, but I just sat through 90 minutes of relative drudgery where England seem to be making the mistakes we so often make at international tournaments - and I'm not having a fun time.
I'm also reminded of that second half performance during England's 1-0 win over Serbia in their first game of the tournament, where I basically lost the will to live.
Here's hoping that England have something better to offer against Slovenia in the third group game next Tuesday (25 June) and we prove that the received wisdom of the eventual tournament winner starting slowly is true.

It might not feel like it right now, but maybe it's still coming home.
As for storing your teabags, do not follow the advice of Danish fans on that front.
