Jeremy Clarkson confidently predicted that Lewis Hamilton would win the British Grand Prix at Silverstone by using a brand new piece of technology meant for his Diddly Squat Farm.
Clarkson was at the British GP on Sunday (7 July) where he spent the afternoon in hospitality with the Alpine F1 Team.
The race was won by Hamilton - his first victory in almost 1,000 days - to give him a record 9th first place finish at the British race.
Hamilton has been marred by car troubles for the last three years. But even with that in mind, Clarkson backed the man using his new tech.

Living around an hour away from the race track on his Diddly Squat Farm in the heart of the Cotswolds, it comes as no surprise that Clarkson made the trip over for the race given his decades working in the automotive industry.
But it was here he brought together his newfound love of farming with driving to predict that Hamilton would break his run of bad luck and finally get back to the top of the podium.
Over on Instagram, he gave his prediction to the Alpine F1 Team using a particular app on his phone that synced to kit back on the farm.

"You're a local man, you know the area. And you know the weather very well," the presenter said to Jeremy.
"Expert opinion - what do you think is going to happen in today's race?"
Responding, Clarkson unleashed his new gadget to safely predict Hamilton would bring home a record victory at Silverstone.
"I have just installed at Diddly Squat my own weather station," Clarkson says.

"So I've got a personalised weather thing. It's Danish. Kaleb Cooper's farm is a mere 15.3 degrees and mine is a balmy 17.4.
"So what we do is we go in to maps... right, that blue dot is Chipping Norton. We're going to have a wet race so my money is on either Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso.
"Because they're the old boys. Old boys do well in the wet."

Hamilton held off a late push from world championship leader Max Verstappen to win the race; his first race victory since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
The Mercedes man is moving teams at the end of the current season, with a period in the red of Ferrari now on the cards.
Fans of Alpine and Clarkson took to the comment section to voice their praise for the former Top Gear presenter.
