Darts fans have hit out at the ‘rude’ commentator during tonight’s PDC World Darts Championship final.
The final sees fan-favourite Luke Littler take on Luke Humphries at the Alexandra Palace as they battle it out for the title - and a £500,000 cash prize.
However, some fans have been left less than impressed after the commentator made a remark about ‘chips’ while 16-year-old Littler was playing.

During the game, the commentator said Littler was ‘staring at like it’s a doner and chips’.
Littler has made his love of kebabs fairly well known in the run up to tonight’s match, but some fans have hit out at the ‘cheeky’ remark.
Taking to X, one person said: ““Staring at it like it’s doner and chips’ f**king rude.”
Another wrote: “‘Staring at like it’s a doner and chips’, that’s taking the p**s.”

A third said: “‘Looking at it like a doner and chips’ was cheeky.”
The teen faces his toughest challenge yet tonight as he takes on Humphries, having previously beat Rob Cross, Christian Kist, Andrew Gilding, Matt Campbell, Raymond van Barneveld and Brendan Dolan.
Prior to today’s match, Littler shared his unusual secret to success, telling Sky News: “I’ll keep doing what I have been doing.”

“I don’t wake up until 12, in the morning go for my ham and cheese omelette, come here and have my pizza, and then go on the practice board.
“It is what I have been doing every day - if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.”
Well, it seems to be working, so who am I to argue?
Littler has amassed an army of fans since entering the tournament and was met with rapturous applause as he walked into 'Greenlight' by Pitbull.

However, it was a different story for poor Humphries who had a smattering of ‘boos’ from the crowd, much to the annoyance of viewers at home.
Even those who were rooting for Littler said that 'booing Luke Humphries is just not the one' and that the boos from the Ally Pally crowd were an 'absolute disgrace'.
Someone else said the people in the crowd booing Humphries were 'd**kheads', so it's clear that plenty still love him and reckon he's a nice guy.

For what it’s worth, Littler and Humphries seem to get along pretty well and they've actually played against each other before.
The pair previously competed against each other in late 2019 when Littler was 12, and it was the far more experienced Humphries who took the win.
