He’s done it again. The absolute lad of darts has picked up another title.
Luke Littler won the 2024 Premier League darts final last night (23 May) at London’s O2 Arena.
He once again faced Luke Humphries and had the crowd losing their minds after he hit yet another nine darter.

And in winning the match, the 17-year-old bagged the huge prize, adding to his already major pot of money he’s earned this year.
Going all the way in the Premier League this season, Littler pocketed a whopper prize of £275,000 – his biggest earning yet.
The Nuke only turned 17 four months ago, on 21 January, and just before then, on 3 January he lost the final of the 2023 PDC World Darts Championship.

But, the lad still received a mega £200,000 as runner-up.
Then, on 19 January, Littler beat Michael van Gerwen to win the Bahrain Masters, taking home the top prize of £20,000.
But, after he’d turned 17, Gerwen then beat him on 27 January in the Dutch Darts Masters final. Although, the lad still bagged a decent £10,000 for that.

And with another nine-darter in the final, Littler won the Belgian Open against Rob Cross in the final to claim the £30,000 winner’s prize money on 10 March.
So, since turning 17, the Nuke has bagged £315,000 in prize money. And in 2024 so far, he’s won a whopping £535,000 in total. Not bad for a young lad.
Before Littler beat Humphries in the final last night, he previously shared what he’d buy if he bagged the prize money.
The teen from Warrington told the Evening Standard: “I'm playing in New York next week, which looked great last year.

“I saw the guys taking the helicopter ride and I'll definitely get my chance to see some sites.”
Littler added: “And then it's off to Orlando. We're going to Disney and plan to do all the rides. My whole family loves all the rollercoasters. It's one of those once-in-a-lifetime trips.”
Now having won half-a-million quid this year alone, when asked about his earnings, the darts champ said: “They said I wasn't ready. Look how I've done. But there's still one big night to go. To win it would be a big message to those doubting me.

“It's mad, isn't it? It's just sort of happened.”
He continued ahead of the match: “But I don't think about the money to be won. I know it's there, but I've got a semi-final to prepare for and then a final, hopefully.
“I've enjoyed playing in front of the crowds and trying to perform my best and my form's been good. I'm just happy being part of the PDC. I just take it all in my stride.”
What a lad.
