Luke Littler shared the most casual post to his Snapchat just ten minutes before the PDC World Darts Championship final last night (3 January).
The 16-year-old faced Luke Humphries after an incredible run of wins, becoming the youngest person to ever reach the final.
Although the lad may have come runner up, he’s climbed more than 130 places into the world’s top 32 darts players at such a young age.

And he couldn’t be cooler about it.
Nicknamed ‘Luke the Nuke’, he’s quickly became a household name and, well, absolute legend.
As well as beating 2018 champ Rob Cross in the semi-final, he saw off Christian Kist, Andrew Gilding, Matt Campbell and Brendan Dolan, as well as his very own hero Raymond van Barneveld.
Despite not getting the big win last night, the teen has bagged himself a whopping £200,000 for making it that far.

And it’s fair to say his life has probably dramatically changed over the last two weeks or so.
But he’s still a young lad, so it seems right if he was just casually posting a quick Snapchat story 10 minutes before facing Humphries.
A screenshot that looks to have come from his account shows the darts board where Littler had his final bit of preparation time before walking out at London’s Ally Pally.

He simply wrote in the in-caption: “Too many messages out there see you in 10 mins.”
A lot of top sportspeople tend to completely cut themselves off from social media ahead of a big game or match, but the Nuke seems too casual for that.
He kept a rather relaxed appearance throughout the championship, and it seems new-found fame causes a spike in Snaps that he just hasn’t got the time for.
Users on X joked he was ‘probably relaxing before with some Pokemon Go’

Many hailed him as ‘just a normal bloke’ as another joked: “Slows, in darts final.”
One put: “As if he just casually puts stuff on his story 10 minutes before a world final,” with a laughing face.
As another said: “Can anybody log into his Snapchat to do his streaks.”

With many echoing: “Literally the most 16-year-old thing ever.”
As one added: “I mean you lot wanted tangible proof he's 16 well here it is.”
Following the defeat last night, Littler said: “Fair play to Luke, he deserves it.
"I've got to the final, I might not get to another final for the next five to 10 years, we don't know, but I can say I'm a runner-up and now I just want to go and win it.”
