One Olympic athlete has revealed why she forced herself to delete Tinder from her phone with the dating app becoming 'next level' during the Games.
By this stage, everyone knows the relationship between the Olympic Village and athletes getting up close and personal.
With thousands of athletes living in one complex for weeks on end, competitors have described it as becoming somewhat of a 'sex fest', with tens of thousands of condoms given out by organisers as athletes arrive.

A massive 200,000 were given out for the 2024 Paris Olympics alone.
Speaking about London 2012, retired footballer Micah Richards - who was then part of the Team GB football squad - said: "It was the party of all parties. You got all the different athletes, all sorts of different specimens in there.
"Absolutely everything was there, we had McDonalds there, a Chinese, a big cafeteria with everything you want, it's free.

"It's what I imagine when you go to uni when you're in halls and sharing a room, I was with Daniel Sturridge. We were there for three nights, we went training, come back to the village, them three nights we were up to 4am.
"You have different campuses, Team GB in one block, Brazil, France, all these countries, and there's a massive big room full of condoms. It was like what, obviously promoting safe sex, and honest to God, I was on fire.
"I was on absolute fire, honestly. I was a little slimmer, a bit more ripped, bit more lean, it was summer time, walking around with my top off. There was multiple gold medals. One of the best times of my life, it was incredible."

The sex and relationships culture of the Games is what forced one athlete to delete dating app Tinder when she competed back in 2014.
Jamie Anderson, a snowboarder for Team USA, was at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics .
Speaking back in 2014, the now 33-year-old said that her swiping habits got so intense that she had to take action to stop herself from overusing the app. The reason? Concentrating on winning a medal.

"Tinder in the Olympic Village is next level," Anderson told US Weekly. "It’s all athletes! In the mountain village it’s all athletes. It’s hilarious. There are some cuties here.
"There was a point where I had to be like, OK, this is way too distracting. I deleted my account to focus on the Olympics."
It seemed to work for Anderson, too, with the Californian bringing home gold in the women's slopestyle; a medal she successfully defended in the 2018 Pyeongchang Games.

As well as Olympic success, Anderson has eight gold medals to her name in the Winter X Games as well as nine silvers and three bronze.
She has had other successes at the Winter Olympics with a silver in the 2018 Games. Anderson also won silver in the 2012 World Championships and bronze in 2019.
Her Tinder days are behind her now, with Anderson engaged to Canadian snowboarder Tyler Nicholson. The two share one child, Misty Rose, who they welcomed to the world in 2023.
