Paris Fury made honest admission about why husband Tyson didn't speak to her for three months before Usyk fight

Paris Fury made honest admission about why husband Tyson didn't speak to her for three months before Usyk fight

Paris Fury revealed how it was really like to avoid speaking to Tyson for three months

Paris Fury made a candid admission just hours before Tyson's rematch against Usyk about his decision to not speak to her for three months.

'The Gypsy King' faced off against Usyk, who was unbeaten in his career before going into the bout, for the second time this year.

The Ukrainian won by split decision back in May, but there were no dramas this time as Usyk retained his heavyweight titles with a win via unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the fight 116-112 in his favour.

AI also scored the fight in favour of Usyk, though at 118-112, something that Fury wasn't a fan of.

The 36-year-old said in post-fight press conference: "F**k all computers.

"Keep the humans going. More jobs for humans, less jobs for computers."

He didn't take the loss well, as expected, though he went the extra mile this time around by choosing to distance himself from his family completely, not speaking to his wife or children for three months as he was in training camp.

Paris' reaction to the result was caught on camera as the score cards were read out, further compounding the disappointment felt by the boxer and those near him.

However, footage has emerged of her speaking to boxing YouTube channel iFL TV about his commitment to training, hours before the bout with Usyk.

She highlighted: "I don't think he spoke to a lot of people this time around, he's been quite short and sharp with especially the media."

Paris further explained that she hasn't seen him in this sort of mode since his rematch against Deontay Wilder, which he won.

The reporter then asked about her husband's claim that he hadn't spoke to her in three months at all, and if it was true.

She replied: "Yup, that is true, I think after the last fight everything that went on previously personally in our lives and then Tyson obviously had the outcome that come last time, I just think he decided this on his own and I had to support him in it."

Fury had previously revealed that Paris had a miscarriage in the lead-up to his first fight against Usyk, though he didn't find out about it until afterwards.

Paris went on: "He didn't want to be involved in family life, so he's cut himself off from us for the last few months and he has put himself in a serious, serious condition and he looks very, very determined,

"So if it's what needed to be then God willing tomorrow night it'll all come out and it will all be good and all worthwhile," she stated.

Sadly for her, it didn't go to plan, after what she described as a 'very difficult' period, adding that it 'wasn't the greatest thing' to not speak to her husband, even revealing that she was just 10 feet away from him, and still didn't speak to him.

Paris also noted that the previous fight was the first she'd missed and the first he'd lost, so she vowed never to miss a fight again.
