Simone Biles has leapt to the defence of her husband Jonathan Owens after he was slammed by fans for wearing her gold medal in a series of celebratory snaps.
Although the US star, 27, doesn't mind sharing the spotlight or her glory at the Paris 2024 Olympics with her spouse, it seems that a lot of her supporters do.
Biles has incredibly added another two gold medals to her ever-growing collection of accolades, cementing her spot as the most decorated gymnast in the history of the sport.

Earlier this week, her performance helped Team USA secure its first gold medal in gymnastics of this year's Games alongside her teammates Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey.
Following their victory on Tuesday (30 July), her NFL star husband Owens took to Instagram to congratulate his wife - who he got hitched to in Mexico in April last year - for continuously raising the bar.
He captioned the post: "Witnessing history every time you step on the mat. Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful I was there to see it."

But fans of Biles weren't happy with the pictures Owens included in his celebratory post - as the Chicago Bears player was the one sporting her gold medal, rather than her.
The couple grinned and then lent in for a kiss in the two images, while Owens wore his wife's award around his neck while delightedly holding it towards the camera.
Biles other half was wearing a t-shirt dedicated to the gymnast too, which had her second name brandished across it.
A ton of social media users flooded the comment section of Owens post with criticism, as people accused him of stealing Biles' thunder.

One said: "Why he holding it like he won it?"
Another wrote: "That's Simone's gold medal you're holding, not yours my guy."
A third added: "But why are you wearing it? How odd."

While a fourth chimed in: "WHY do u have the medal on there is NO REASON?"
Even though she's currently got much bigger fish to fry at the Olympics, Biles managed to find time to hit back at critics coming for her husband.
After adorably commenting, 'My whole heart. I love you', on the post, she soon followed it up with a sterner response which gave some context to the situation.
Biles said: "Crazy thing is, I put my medal on every single one of my family members and took pictures. So don’t ever make assumptions.

"Like y'all are so f****ng miserable. Leave us alone."
Biles has had Owens by her side during her time in Paris after he was granted special leave by the Chicago Bears.
The team's head coach, Matt Eberflus, said of the decision: "Just because we respect the Olympics. That is a big deal.
"And he's just supporting the one he loves the most. I think that's so cool that he gets to do that.
"We welcome that and it's gonna be awesome. Go USA."
