Some people are only really watching the Super Bowl for the halftime show and the various performances which get crammed into it.
Even people who aren't fans of American Football can enjoy Kendrick Lamar bringing on Samuel L. Jackson and singing 'They Not Like Us' to a stadium of thousands.
It's also a chance to watch a whole bunch of trailers for upcoming big budget movies, and with millions of eyeballs on the show, it also means that any demonstration is going to be seen by a lot of people.

While Kendrick Lamar was doing his thing, someone standing on a car that had been positioned on the stage unfurled what appeared to be a double-decker flag representing both Sudan and Palestine.
The words 'Sudan' and 'Gaza' seemed to have been written on the flag the protester was waving before they had to hop off the car and depart the stage when security attempted to catch up to them.
Footage of the protest shows a member of staff rushing over to the flag waver, who then hops down onto the pitch itself and runs back and forth holding their flag aloft for people to see.

This carried on for a good long while before members of the stadium's security were able to catch up to them and detain them.
Eventually they were caught by several people, with the NFL confirming they were part of the 400 strong field cast of the halftime show.
The New Orleans Police Department told LADbible in a statement: "The individual detained in this incident, an adult black male, was ejected from the stadium after the incident.
"No arrest nor summons was issued. As such, the individual will not be identified.

"The NOPD continues to work with NFL and the halftime production team to ascertain any affiliation the individual may have had with the halftime show."
According to the NFL, 'the individual hid the item on his person and unveiled it late in the show' and that 'no one involved with the production was aware of the individual’s intent'.
Entertainment company Roc Nation said that the flag display was 'neither planned nor part of the production and was never in any rehearsal'.

Gaza and Sudan are two particularly war-torn areas of the world.
A ceasefire in Gaza was secured last month after thousands of deaths and Hamas have freed some hostages, while Israel has released prisoners in exchange, though US president Donald Trump recently said that America was 'committed to buying and owning Gaza', Associated Press reports.
The conflict in Sudan has also claimed thousands of lives, with the United Nations (UN) warning that there have been hundreds of civilian casualties in recent weeks alone.
Security expert Will Geddes told LADbible that the protester being able to perform so publicly was a 'massive failing of security by the stadium'.
