UFC star Paddy Pimblett turned up at gym to meet fighter who challenged him to settle the feud

Paddy, of course, won the fight

Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett decided to settle a social media feud by showing up at the guy's gym to fight him in front of a crowd.

There'd been a bit of flak coming his way from fellow fighter Denis 'The Menace' Frimpong, who'd been responding to a fan who said they hoped Pimblett would be back in action for UFC London in March.

"He won't be fit for the Vegas event never mind the London one," Frimpong said, and therein lies the beef between the pair which had spiralled into a bit of a social media feud.

While it has been confirmed that he's not going to be fighting at the O2 in a couple of months time, Pimblett hit back on social media and a war of words erupted, though the UFC fighters ended up settling things face to face.

At this point it might be helpful to say that if you get into an argument with someone on the internet, it's a bad idea to try and track them down in real life for a fight, but these two are MMA fighters who are used to getting into spats so we can perhaps make an exception for them.

Anyhow, Paddy showed up at the Manchester Top Team gym where Frimpong was training so they could have a fight and settle things.

Paddy seemed to be the superior fighter in the bout, managing to get Frimpong down on the ground and apply a rear naked choke to his opponent which had Frimpong tapping out in submission - despite him agreeing with the Scouse fighter to 'no tapping' beforehand.

However, Paddy held the choke a while longer and the pair had to be separated by those watching on.

Pimblett and Frimpong appeared to lay their feud to rest as they shook hands after the fight, and the defeated fighter gave his verdict on Paddy holding the choke after he tapped out.

He said: "To everyone chatting s**t about @PaddyTheBaddy not letting the choke go, chill out.

"It’s a f**king choke, I didn’t even go unconscious, and it was a straightener scrap. I went in fully expecting that if he caught a choke he was gonna try put me out, don’t chat s**t you don’t know."

When asked by a fan why he tapped out if that was the case, he said it was due to 'instinct and the fact my trachea was getting crushed' which seems quite understandable.

Meanwhile, Paddy seems to be engaged in a new war of words against another opponent, this time it's Brazilian MMA fighter Renato Moicano.

The Brazilian had accused him of 'talking s**t' and claiming that the Liverpudlian would 'tap if we fight'.

Paddy fired back to say that Renato 'tapped after like 2 seconds like a b***h' in a fight and 'quit like an absolute sausage', with Moicano hitting back by saying 'the judges not gonna help you this time' while Paddy said 'make sure you don't tap when I choke u'.

Anyone know what gym Moicano trains at?
