But why fly when you can get 'the next best thing'?
The camouflage version of the Mercedes-Benz EQG recently debuted outside the Bellagio in Las Vegas and viewers were a bit stunned by the 360-degree tank-turn feature.
The German car manufacturer got four EQG prototypes to do synchronised 360-degree turns, or G turns, on the LA strip during the Consumer Electronics Show 2024 show.
In case you're wondering how it works, the SUV uses its four electric motors to spin 360 degrees on its own axis.

Whilst the feature might seem a bit pointless, it can potentially get you out of some tricky situations if you go off-roading with your mates.
Taking to X (Twitter) one viewer said: "In what situation in life do you need this feature."
"Not the Mario Kart banana spin out animation," another joked.

"Crashing your new car cause u accidentally clicked the “360” button gunna be wild," a third added.
"Who’s gonna be the first rapper to put this in their video?" quipped a fourth.
"The best use case for this is when someone honks at you and you just do a full 180 to stare them down. lol," someone else suggested.
Although Mercedes hasn't released official specs for the car, it does share similarities to the concept vehicle.

In a Star-Wars styled-promo on their website, Mercedes said: "No one can certainly tell where the future will take us. But one thing is certain: the G-Class will guide the way.
"This is the Concept EQG. While the G-Class prepares for the age of all-electric vehicles, it remains true to its legacy through the Concept EQG – an original 'G'. The design is G-Class through and through.
"And the electric cross-country vehicle refuses to compromise, when it comes to its off-road capabilities. In fact, the Concept EQG feels more at home on difficult terrain than anywhere else.

"Thanks to the pulling power of its electric all-wheel drive and its low centre of gravity, the Concept EQG is optimally prepared for adventures of the future.
"A cross-country vehicle which has remained true to itself for more than 40 years ventures a step into the future.
"The Concept EQG combines its iconic origin and uncompromising off-road capabilities with futuristic elements of the Mercedes-Benz world."
An official debut of the production car is expected by the end of 2024 into 2025.
