When aliens inevitably find the shattered remains of this world and are search for a symbol that ours was a civilisation in the process of collapsing they'll need only to check our landfill sites.
Therein they'll find piles of disposable vapes which could not only give your lungs a pummelling but also had touch screens and apps on a cheap device made to be thrown away.
I apologise for sounding like an old man yelling at a cloud, dear reader, but if this is what's 'it' then it seems weird and scary to me.

This disposable vape, which can be yours for something like £20, claims to have up to 30,000 puffs of medically harmful flavoured air.
Of course the real draw with this gizmo is the other technology attached which you don't stick in your mouth and inhale.
The disposable vape boasts that it's got built in games, a touch screen and the ability to link it to your phone with Bluetooth so you can get call and text notifications.

It's apparently got a calculator and a weather app, and you can even change the wallpaper design for your disposable little box packed with addictive juice.
I know this is technological progress the likes of which our ancestors could never have imagined but it's a touchscreen device with actual computing power and Bluetooth functionality and it's a f**king disposable vape.
All of that technology and work is just going to end up on a landfill while the next disposable vape gets made to take its place in a continuous cycle of consumption and waste.
Some people have been sharing pictures of this thing on social media, and thankfully the internet has poured scorn on the idea of so much technology being crammed into a disposable vape.

"Why the f**k are we wasting semiconductors and OLED displays on vapes meant to be thrown out after a month," one person asked, while another said 'we got phones motherf**ker, there is no reason for this thing to exist'.
Someone else said that even the most basic disposable vapes were 'already a massive waste of resources and labour'.
Others decried the 'insane' amount of electronic waste which would be produced by this disposable vape, while another said it was 'an unmitigated disaster'.

Meanwhile, someone else thought they'd located the culprit, saying this whole problem 'originated from whoever decided to place a screen on a refrigerator'.
Please remember that while vaping is not as bad for you as smoking, it's definitely not a healthy thing for you to be doing.
Some countries such as the UK are banning disposable vapes, with 1 April, 2025 pencilled in as the date when such a ban would kick in.
