People baffled after seeing face of woman you’ve probably heard voice of hundreds of times

People baffled after seeing face of woman you’ve probably heard voice of hundreds of times

Kristen DiMicurio has a voice you'll definitely recognise

After viewers heard a startling familiar voice, they were shocked to realise that the owner is in so many more things than they thought.

When TikTokers came across a video on their For You Page, they probably didn’t think much of it until the woman began to talk, and that’s when they lost their minds.

There are so many people that we hear every day but never see their faces, whether it’s on the radio, on television advertisements and technological devices.

But now, we can finally put a face to the voice of one incredibly well-known thing.

Kristen DiMircurio’s account posted a video just two days ago (September 27) to share with viewers who she really is and people lost their minds.

Kristen, originally from Maryland, got her start in performing in plays, and when she landed in New York City, she discovered her love of voiceover work.

After moving to Los Angeles, she began working in film, advertisements, audiobooks and, of course, the very thing that people know her voice from.

She began saying: “Hello, it’s me.”

Kristen then dropped the bomb: “The voice of your Bluetooth device.”

You see, Kristen is the person who was hired to tell you everything about your Bluetooth connection, whether your device is at a certain percentage, looking for a paired device or has paired successfully.

Her voice can be on anything from headphones to smartphones and even robot vacuums, according to one commenter who claims she’s the voice of her hoover.

As soon as she admitted her identity, commenters were straight into the comments.

One person said: “God I love your voice, it's like massage on my brain cells.”

Another asked: “So if the bluetooth voice is a real person's voice. Why do they make you make it sound like a text to speech bot?”

Someone else said: “This is the lady that tells me to turn left in 400m when there's no left to turn into.”

“Please say: The Bluetooth device is ready to pair”, asked one person, while another said: “Not 10 minutes ago, you told me my headphones ‘battery at about 70%.’”

She explained in the video that she ‘may be the voice of your Bluetooth device’ and explained that she says ‘may be’ because as a voice actor, they tend to be handed over scripts without being told what it’s for.

Kristen then went on to say that ‘unless the product name is in the script, you guess is as good as mine’.

Also, she’s been in the biz for a while and shared that she’s done so many voice overs that she can’t remember everything she’s worked on.

She’s also shockingly the voice actor for many phonelines, which will ask you for an extension number to dial through.

She’s also been in video games, educational videos, podcasts and so on.

Kristen explained that she’s got her hands ‘in a lot of pots’ and believes you’ve definitely heard her voice before, as even when she calls her insurance company, she’s startled to hear her own voice on the pre-recorded option line.

At least now you can put a face to such a familiar voice.
