As she was exiting the supermarket with her shopping for the week, the woman was stopped by a woman wearing a Tesco uniform and a man in plain clothes who identified himself as an in-store detective.
The TikTok user had completed a scan as you go shop and was heading home when she was stopped by the two staff members, who then proceeded to check the items in the cart to see if they matched those listed in the receipt.
The situation got a little tense when Anne Marie started recording the two employees.

The woman claims in the video the man failed to show her his ID and that another Tesco employee 'chased her down' as she went to leave the store.
The employees, for their part, take issue with the woman recording them, and the man appears to call the police on her.
The female employee says: "I've literally just been asked to check that's been paid for. I don't know what's gone on before."
It's at this point the female employee appears to try to grab Anne Marie's phone.

"You cannot take my property out of my hands!" Anne Marie can be heard saying.
In the caption to the post, Anne Marie wrote: "Go into Tesco get a few bits that I needed for the next few days and to get some chicken for my dogs.
"I always use a scan as you shop with my ClubCard I can then see my total and no have to worry about adding it up in my head, so check out costing me £101.06.

"Go to walk out then get stopped by this man and a women she then tells me she needs to check my trolley, not a problem, but she walks off [and then] this women walks over and tries to snatch my phone out of my hand and tells me I'm not allowed to record them.
"Make them viral THIS IS AT THE COVENTRY RICHO ARENA (Tesco)."
TikTokers were baffled by the interaction.
One wrote: "Police, what’s your emergency? Tesco here, someone paid for their shopping and they’re recording us, send help."

Another said: "The fact she tried to grab your phone, tells him to phone the police and then tells you to calm down! Wow!"
