Tony Hawk's Son Is Dating Kurt Cobain's Daughter

Tony Hawk's son and the daughter of the late Kurt Cobain are in a relationship.

The son of the famed skateboarder, Riley Hawk, 29, is dating the daughter of iconic rock star daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, 29.

The romance was confirmed on Cobain's Instagram earlier this year (2 January) and social media were loving the idea of the two together.

Frances shared a number of images from 2021, two of which featured Riley that seemed to be them going Instagram official.

One pic shows him sitting in front of a Christmas tree flashing a beaming smile while holding a small dog.

Another snap shows Riley and Frances cuddled up together nearby Tony and his wife Catherine Goodman. 

Confirming their relationship, Riley commented on the post: "Happy new year my love!"

Rumours of the two began on Reddit where users appeared to be delighted with the news.

"If they had a child, their grandparents would be two of the largest icons from the nineties. Insane," one person wrote. 

Another shared: "OK this is legitimately good news for humanity."

A third added: "Daughter of the most nineties dude ever is dating the son of the second most nineties dude ever."

Frances returned to Instagram following a year-long break from social media and her followers were glad to see her back and 'happy'.

Her caption read: "I took a year long break from posting on Instagram which was exceptionally good for my mental, emotional & spiritual health.

"2021 brought me more into the present moment than I’ve ever been, which I’m deeply grateful for.

"I wanted to share a few moments that were captured / created this past year that brought me a great amount of joy.

"Here’s to hoping everyone’s 2022 is filled with authentic connections, a lot of warmth & profound discovery of self happy new year."

One person wrote: "Your happy makes me happy!"

Another added: "I’m so happy to see your beautiful face again on here but more importantly to see you so happy and healthy. I miss you my love."

A third shared: "Beautifully said love you!!!!! Miss you!!!!!"
