An American woman has admitted that she finds certain UK road signs ‘so confusing’ when traveling around the country.
Aurora Victoria - who posts on TikTok under the handle @aurora._victoria - is an ‘American girl in London’ and regularly shares updates into her life.
In one upload she admitted to finding the layout of some street signs to be confusing - and she’s now she’s said it I kind of agree.

In the clip, she explains: “Something else that I found to be so confusing about the UK when I moved here from the US were the street signs.
"In the US, when you get to the end of an intersection the street signs are quite high up so that you can see, ‘OK this street is ending and this street is beginning’.
“But here, at the corner there’s no street sign. You have to turn and look low to see the street sign.
“So if you’re an American who’s coming to the UK or even here on vacation, make sure that you look low for the street sign.

"Sometimes they might be high as well but it’s not as clear - at least it wasn’t for me when I moved.”
I mean, look - I think she’s got a point. I can’t count the number of times I’ve ended up lost because I’ve been completely unable to see the name of the road I’m heading onto.
And it appears others agree, with one of her followers commenting: "Roads/junctions/signage is something the US does way better than we do for drivers. Less so for pedestrians tbh, but always clearly marked.”

And another wrote: "It's really annoying looking for street signs here.”
But it seems the road signs aren’t the only that is confusing to American drivers in the UK - as a driver from Florida recently proved.
Khemaran has been driving over there for 12 years, so we can assume he’s a safe pair of hands behind the wheel.

Kam wanted to pass his driving test in the UK, and called in the trusty YouTube driving man to help him out, AKA Richard Fanders from the Conquer Driving YouTube channel.
In the video, he claims he has a lot of driving experience, but also admitted that he has previously failed a test in the UK.
His last test was a failure due to taking the wrong lane on a roundabout. Not ideal.
And he didn’t fare much better this time with Fanders revealing that not only had he failed but he’d done so in quite spectacular fashion with 11 minors and six serious faults. Ouch.
