Italian prosecutors have revealed the location of where the six missing bodies from the Bayesian superyacht were recovered.
Yesterday (23 August), it was announced that the sixth and final body had been recovered from the yacht after it capsized and sank off the coast of Sicily on 19 August.
Rescuers were able to get 15 of the 22 passengers to safety following the sinking, while the body of the yacht's chef Recaldo Thomas was also found.

The four other passengers were named as Morgan Stanley chairman Jonathan Bloomer, his wife Judy Bloomer, Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda Morvillo.

Speaking in a press conference today (24 August), Italian authorities have now given an update on the investigation, with prosecutor Raffaele Cammarano confirming that not all of the bodies were found in the same location of the yacht, adding that it was also unlikely that the cabin had belonged to them.
"The bodies were found in a cabin which was not theirs but this doesn’t give us any kind of certainty about what happened." Cammarano said, revealing that six bodies had been found in cabins on the left side of the yacht.
“We have no idea of the reasons for their all being found in the same cabin."

"The yacht obviously pinned to the right and obviously the (people) tried to go on the other side and then took refuge in their cabins." he continued to say.
“We found four or five bodies in the cabin on the left and there was another one in the third cabin on the left too, and obviously they were in the higher part of the wreck."
Explaining the difficult conditions search and rescue divers faced during the recovery, he added that 'some 70 people' had been involved in the operation each day.
Meanwhile, a potential homicide investigation has also been opened into the yacht's sinking, following confirmation that seven people had been killed.

Confirming that his office had opened a manslaughter investigation, Ambrogio Cartosio said it was 'probable that offences were committed' in regards to the sinking of the yacht.
