A fifth monolith has now appeared in the UK and locals don't really know what to think.
Shaped like a giant Toblerone, the 10-foot-tall block of steel was spotted in a UK town over the weekend.
This follows on from a number of mysterious sightings in the UK, Europe and the US over the past few years.

Ever since the mysterious monolith discovered in a remote area of Utah disappeared in 2020, some people think they are the work of aliens, or Banksy.
Both are pretty unlikely - with a rep for the artist also denying the connection.
Utah's Bureau of Land Management said at the time it had received 'credible reports' that the object had been removed by 'an unknown party'.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the Bureau said: "We have received credible reports that the illegally installed structure, referred to as the 'monolith', has been removed from Bureau of Land Management (BLM) public lands by an unknown party.
"The BLM did not remove the structure which is considered private property. We do not investigate crimes involving private property which are handled by the local sheriff's office.
"The structure has received international and national attention and we received reports that a person or group removed it on the evening of Nov. 27."
Numerous monoliths have also appeared across the globe - ranging from Romania to Compton Beach in the Isle of Wight.

Now, over the weekend, local Richard Haynes spotted a fifth monolith as he snapped photos of the steel block in Hay Bluff, Wales.
"I went off towards Hay Bluff towards where the trig point is and I looked over to my right," Richard told WalesOnline.
“I thought it looked a bit bizarre and might be a scientific media research thing collecting rainwater.

“But then realised it was way too tall and strange for that. Then I went up to it and it was about 10-foot-tall at least and triangular, definitely stainless steel.
"It was hollow and I imagine pretty light.
"Light enough for two people to carry it up and plant it in the ground.
“I did notice on Google that it’s popped up fairly recently and from what I can gather it disappears after a couple of days."

The sightings have also attracted a bit of a debate online.
Taking to TikTok, some people think they look cool, while others say they’re tacky and damage the environment.
Richard added: "I don’t know about that, but it’s clear someone would have had to have dug a large hole to get it in the ground.”
