Hairy Bikers' Dave Myers passed away on earlier this week aged 66 following a cancer diagnosis, but he never revealed the type of cancer.
Myers was a celebrity chef best known as one half of the Hairy Bikers, a duo who presented numerous cookery shows for the BBC, often combining the world of food with the world of motorcycles through travelogue.

Myers had a special bond with Si King, who was the other half of the Hairy Bikers, with their friendship lasting decades.
The late chef paid tribute to his long-time friend in one of his last interviews.
Following his death, King's released a statement saying he was 'afraid I bear some sad news', informing fans that Dave 'passed away peacefully at home' in the company of his wife Lili and his family along with close friends David and Si.
"Personally, I am not sure I can put into words on how I feel at the moment. My best friend is on a journey that for now, I can’t follow," King continued.

"I will miss him every day and the bond and friendship we shared over half a lifetime.
"I wish you god’s speed brother; you are and will remain a beacon in this world. See you on the other side. Love ya."
Despite revealing that he had cancer in 2022, he continued to work and even produced The Hairy Bikers Go West, which only recently aired.
Myers never shared the specific cancer diagnosis with the public, but revealed in 2022 why he kept it under wraps.

He said it was simply because he 'did not want to be judged'.
While speaking to the Guardian, the chef revealed why he did not want to share the information: "Because everybody then goes Googling, everybody becomes an amateur doctor.
"And I don’t want to be judged – yet".

He also added: "A huge inconvenience is the best way to describe it."
The Hairy Bikers member underwent intensive chemotherapy to try to fight the disease, meaning he had to learn to walk again and also lost his appetite.
Myers and King gained popularity over 20 years ago as the Hairy Bikers.
