The final cause of death for British teenager Jay Slater has been revealed.
Jay, 19, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, was reported missing on Monday 17 June after travelling to Tenerife with friends for the NRG music festival.
The alarm was raised by his friend Lucy Law, who told authorities that she'd last heard from him around 9am on the Monday morning, where Jay told her he 'didn't know where he was' and had 'cut his leg' on a cactus.

His last known location was the Rural de Teno Park in the north west of the island.
A widespread search for Jay ensued - with the case gaining a massive following across social media - however Spanish police confirmed on 15 July that a 'lifeless body of a young man' had been recovered in a ravine in the Masca region.
It was later confirmed that the was indeed Jay, with an initial autopsy suggesting that he'd died from injuries sustained after a fall.

Now, Jay's cause of death has been made official after his body was repatriated back the UK, following a post-mortem examination.
The post-mortem has now confirmed that the apprentice bricklayer had died from traumatic head injuries which are compatible with a fall from a significant height.
It's also understood that his death would have been instantaneous.
Jay's funeral will be held on 10 August, with a 'celebration of life service' set to take place at Accrington Cemetery Chapel. Well-wishers who wish to pay tribute to Jay have been asked to wear blue in his memory.

The family have also asked for donations to be made to LBT Global, a charity which aids the families of missing Brits abroad, rather then taking flowers.
An emotional tribute shared by Jay's family said the 19-year-old would be 'greatly missed' by his loved ones.
"A loving son of Debbie and Warren, a cherished brother of Zak and brother-in-law of Jessica, a treasured grandson of Dawn, June and the late Dougie, a much-loved nephew of Glen and Katie, a dear cousin of Maddie and Tillie and a loyal friend to many. Jay will be very sadly missed by all those who knew him," the tribute began.
