The mother of the teenager who has gone missing in Tenerife has spoken out about the possibility that he might have been 'taken against his will'.
19-year-old Oswaldtwistle lad Jay Slater was last heard from on Monday (17 June) when he called a friend to say he was lost and didn't know where he was.
His friend Lucy claims that Jay stayed out at a rave on the Sunday (16 June) night before going back to a rented holiday home.

He then called her at around 8am on the Monday morning to say he was walking back, but this would have been a 10 hour trek through unfamiliar terrain.
The search for Jay has been ongoing since then, with members of his family flying out to Tenerife.
His mum Debbie Duncan has been talking about what might have happened with her son, and told PA that she feared Jay had 'been taken against his will'.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Debbie spoke further about the possibility that her son had been kidnapped and sent a message out to the people who might have him.
She said: "If anyone does have him, just let him go, he's not a bad person, maybe he's got in with some strangers who've befriended him.
"I'm not stupid, I've been to Tenerife before, I've worked abroad myself and I gave him warnings, I just think if anyone has got him let him go, he's not a bad person.
"If he's got himself mixed up with any trouble, just let him go, just let him go, it's been three days, he's in the same clothes, if he's been dumped in the mountains it's hot in the day and cold at night.

"Jay is a brilliant person, everybody loves being in his company, he's bubbly and fun, he's such a lovely, beautiful boy. I just want my little baby home with me."
She continued by saying that her son would have been on the flight home and returning to Oswaldtwistle had he not gone missing.
Debbie said that she didn't know what to think and was 'all over the place' despite attempting to keep positive.

She wondered whether someone had taken her son or whether he was 'panicked and lost in the mountains'.
"I just don't know, that's why if anyone has any information please just tell us," she implored to anyone with information about Jay's whereabouts.
"But if he is lost then why hasn't anyone seen him?
"It's busy with hikers and holidaymakers up there so if he was lost then someone would have seen him, so that's why I think maybe he's been bundled off somewhere."
