The stepdad of the British teenager who has gone missing in Tenerife said they 'knew it was bad' when police knocked on the front door.
Jay Slater, 19, from Lancashire, was travelling out in Tenerife, attending the New Rave Generation festival with his friends before he got separated from them.
According to his friend, the teenager decided to stay out with a group of people he had just met on Sunday (16 June) evening.

His phone was on one percent when he told his friend that he 'didn't know where he was'.
His stepfather Andy, 63, has since recalled the horrifying moment when police knocked on his mum's home, in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire.
